The Brieant Youth Alliance (BYA) hosted it sixth annual charity golf tournament in White Plains, NY raising approximately $13,000 to support the development of unique educational programs that are free of charge to children of diverse ethnic backgrounds in the elementary, middle and high schools and incarcerated youth in Westchester County, New York.

The outing was a huge success. Tournament who participated enjoyed a variety of competitions in addition to 18 holes of scramble.  Participants challenged head golf professional Brian Giardano on a couple holes to add to the competition. A huge thank you goes out to the club staff and all of our supporters who helped make the BYA tournament an exciting and successful fundraising event.

It was such an honor to be able to host members of our UPS sponsors and supporters of our organization at our annual golf tournament. “We are so fortunate to have such outstanding golf course and incredible staff that made the day special”, commented Diane Magri, Executive Director of the BYA.

The day began with a full breakfast followed by a BBQ lunch before a shotgun start (scramble format). In the evening, there was a cocktail reception followed by dinner. As we do every year, we held a silent auction, a raffle and an awards ceremony. The silent auction was filled with fabulous gifts items.  Money raised will go to run our programs will provide a positive impact on the Brieant Youth Alliance initiatives.
