Date changed due to forecast of rainy weather: The new date for this event is November 1st at 10:30 AM. Please update your calendar accordingly!
After a change of date due to rough weather, this year’s golf tournament was perfect. The golf course was in great shape despite the chilly weather. Despite the cold chill everyone had a great time at the 5th annual Brieant Youth Alliance golf tournament, our annual fundraising event.
The Brieant Youth Alliance (BYA) annual golf tournament was held at Westchester Hills Golf Club (WHGC) in White Plains, NY. The organization’s fundraising event benefits the development of unique educational programs which are offered free of charge to children of diverse ethnic backgrounds in the elementary, middle and high schools and incarcerated youth in in Westchester County, New York. One of our highly recognized programs, The Youth at Risk Program, benefits incarcerated youth providing these young children that are facing adversity and prison sentences with strong and enduring professional support that focuses on changing their lives for the better.
Our day started with breakfast, followed by a BBQ luncheon before a shotgun start (scramble format). In the evening, there was a cocktail reception with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, followed by fabulous dinner. The staff at WHGC was able to present an outstanding menu and great service. An award ceremony for our golfers was followed by a silent auction and raffle resulted a great evening for all.
